The Inner School - Initiatic Training

This concentration offers systematic individual training in the process of awakening. It is for those who wish to pursue a deeper spiritual study and engage in a transformational process with the goal of realizing one's essential nature and to actualizing one's purpose in life.

In this training one is given individualized sacred readings not available to the general public, called Gathas, as well as personal instruction by a chosen guide trained in this process of spiritual unfoldment and transformation. This training is offered by the Sufi Path of Awakening, through initiation taken in the inner Sufi school of spiritual liberty of Hazrat Inayat Khan.

What is initiation?

In point of fact initiation only means a step forward, a step which should be taken with hope and courage, for without courage and hope it would be most difficult to take any forward step… initiation in the real sense of the word, as it is used on the spiritual path, takes place when a person, though they may already have a religion or an opinion and ideas about spiritual things, feels that they should take a step in a direction which they do not know; when they take that first step, that is an initiation.

It is pointless trying to know where the way leads. Think only about your first step, the rest will come.

The Inner School offers: Esoteric teachings, spiritual guidance and individual practices, as well as guided individual and group retreats.
