The teaching and practices of Kinship revolve around the cultivation of 5 core values, each building and depending upon the others:

- Personal Development that offers training and resources to: Promote awareness and understanding of our diverse gifts; help us to better understand our underlying assumptions and motivations; Explore ways to leverage differences to positively impact others in their homes, workplaces, and communities
